TAG Hotels & Resorts takes pride in bringing to the Philippine market a taste of the excellent winemaking tradition of Central Chile – a range of wines available at their first upscale resort in Coron, Palawan and via special order on their website and social media channels.
Wines from the Wetlands
The valleys in Central Chile is a very special place; over 176 species of migratory birds call this wetland home. The winemakers at these vineyards that share this beautiful area, understand the importance of the biodiversity of the environment. As such, TAG Wines is one of a few wine brands that commits complete sustainability with every bottle. The winemakers work closely with the local communities around the vineyards to ensure that environmental care is central to the winemaking process.
Central valley winemaker Sergio Hormazábel says, “Making wine is a creative process that leaves a legacy. We believe that making sensational wines should not happen at the expense of our planet. In fact, we have proven that by working in partnership with the environment, we can create an even better product. Our wines are refreshing yet intense, and will leave their mark on any occasion.”
The range of TAG Wines provides an intensity of flavor that delivers a premium, sensational and refreshing taste at an affordable price. This makes them ideal for sharing with friends or pairing with meals.
Stephen Tagud, Managing Director of TAG Hotels & Resorts: “We are really happy to be working with Viña Ventisquiero, a producer in Chile that actively engages with its local community while sustainably taking care of the surrounding area, a philosophy we at TAG Hotels & Resorts strongly believe in. TAG Wines offer our customers fantastic value for money!”
Green and Luxurious
Established in 2018, TAG Hotels & Resorts is the newest chain of destination resorts which recently opened its first resort in Coron – Palawan’s Enchanted Paradise. As a green resort, TAG ingrains delight and sustainability deeply into its brand persona – going the extra mile to weave sustainable practices into its day-to-day operations. This Coron resort runs on a commercial-grade water filtration system to make its water safe for drinking to eliminate the need for single-use plastic water bottles. TAG Hotel Coron also offers guests locally sourced green amenities such as upcycled water bottles, organic soaps and bath products, locally handcrafted amenities, and even rewards guests with perks for declining room cleaning and linen-changing to reduce water and energy consumption.
TAG Resort is the biggest hotel resort in Coron island – with well-appointed rooms and casitas, lagoon pools, a commercial strip, restaurants, a pool bar, a landmark-worthy Tree of Light, and a main ballroom that can accommodate up to 500 guests.
