Sustainability Report 2023

TAG Resort Coron’s commitment to sustainability is deeply rooted in its respect for the natural world. Despite the challenges of COVID-19 when it first opened in 2021, its sustainability efforts have been consistent and haven’t faltered, and they are more than ever as it embarks on a new journey of growth and expansion.

“In our initial years, we have implemented numerous sustainable initiatives that reflect our dedication to the cause. We are proud of the strides we have made in reducing our environmental impact, fostering a culture of sustainability among our staff, and engaging our guests in our green practices,” shares Stephen Rey Tagud, Managing Director of TAG Resort Coron.

Two years into its operation, TAG Resort Coron has already saved 8,202.92 cubic meters of water from recycling wastewater, laundry, and operations, and has extracted 51,115 kwh from renewable energy. It also uses 100% in-room water bottles instead of single-use plastic bottles. These sustainability efforts are aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards.

TAG Resort continues to adhere to these global standards, and you can read more about them in its Sustainability Report for 2023 here.
